Personal
I was born in Seremban, a quaint city with a history of tin mining, then moved to Kuala Lukut, a tiny fishing village nestled in the middle of Lukut, another town that developed from tin mining, and Port Dickson, a beach town with a history of charcoal production, used to power trains which transported tin. I spent all my life in Kuala Lukut before coming to College Park to study shapes and stuff.
I have an enduring interest in most forms of visual art, a fascination which developed when I was a child, and creative uses of language (especially poetry). I consider pure mathematics an extension of these interests.
